Dolls, Dollshouses and Teddybears

We offer a variety of antique dolls of all imaginable materials such as from wood, cloth, wax, papermache, waxed papermache, glazed china, bicuit china, parian as well as celluloid. The dolls derive from the 18th - 20th Century and are almost with no exception in original condition, otherwise we will inform you in the description (compare Condition of dolls).
Antique dolls are references of culture and history of art, as well as of fashion and ideal conception of beauty in that time. Famous producers were J.D. Kestner, Kämmer & Reinhardt, Schildkröt (Turtlemark), Simon & Halbig, Armand Marseille, Handwerck, SFJB, Heubach, König & Wernicke, Dressel, Alt, Beck & Gottschalk, Käthe Kruse and much more.

Teddybears were always the emotional companion of children. Thus they have always traces of this relationship. In this coherence Teddybears only were affectionate called "loved". Famous manufactors of teddybears were Margarete Steiff, Bing, Schuco and Hermann.

Antique dollhouses, toy-shops, toy-kitchen, stables, schools and much more as well as antique dolls are mirroring very detailed the anthropospehere.

Condition of Dolls

The opinion about the condition of dolls are far different. Cracks and hairlines can be considered as faults. So called unvisible hairlines that appear only by putting a light into the head are no faults in our opinion. In spite of all meanings of selfprofiling dealers we have never had that a doll cracked by herself, especially not with a loud bang as described. We are over 30 years dealing in old dolls that includes a lot of experience. If you can not accept it let me know.
